Job Description

Rogar Management & Consulting of Florida, headquartered in South Florida, is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment
Operators to join our construction team. This position requires travel to job sites throughout the State of Florida.
We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious operators with experience operating heavy construction equipment.

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL

EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE MAY INCLUDE:

• Excavators
• Backhoes
• Loaders
• Skid Steers
• Bulldozers
• Other heavy construction equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment on active construction sites
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, loading, backfilling, material movement, and general site work as needed
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues
• Follow job-site safety requirements and supervisor instructions
• Work and communicate effectively with field supervisors and crew members
• Maintain equipment and work areas in safe operating condition

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous heavy equipment operating experience required
• Must be able to safely and confidently operate assigned equipment
• Knowledge of construction-site and equipment safety
• Must be willing and able to travel to job sites throughout the State of Florida
• Ability to work outdoors in typical construction-site conditions
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
• Valid driver's license
• OSHA 10 and/or CDL is a plus, but not required unless needed for the specific position
